Bad Bunny – Yo Visto Así

Bad Bunny’s dabbled in pop-punk before to great success, and there are a few distorted guitar chords on EL ÚLTIMO TOUR DEL MUNDO, his 3rd LP of 2020. Yo Visto Así blends Latin trap with stadium-friendly grunge, bringing to mind the likes of Post Malone and Lil Peep.

King Princess – PAIN

After dropping the single Only Time Makes It Human last month, KP’s back with another loosie – this one’s catchy as hell.

Rina Sawayama – LUCID

Bloodpop® produced this huge tune from Rina Sawayama, who loved the beat so much that it took her no time at all to write. One point I started hoovering cos I knew this would be easy to write,” she claims.

Silver Sphere – football game

Written while Silver Sphere was still in high school, football game is about love and sex and the way that girls get shamed after hook-ups, while the guys get praised for them. Hyperpop fans might recognise the sugary but harsh sound of the production, which was created by Dylan Brady from 100 gecs.

Lil Yachy – Flex Up ft. Future & Playboi Carti

After a period of relative silence, Carti’s now teasing his long-awaited new album Whole Lotta Red. To tide you over, here’s an evil-sounding collab from Lil Yachy’s new album Lil Boat 3.5.

BIA – SKATE

The LA based rapper drops her fourth single since untangling herself from an allegedly stifling record deal this year.

Flohio – Roundtown

A catchy highlight from the south London rapper’s debut mixtape, No Panic No Pain.

AJ Tracey – Yumeko

AJ Tracey’s 2017 EP Secure The Bag! confirmed that he wasn’t going to be confined to the so-called grime revival, and embraced a fresh-sounding, US-influenced trap sound. Following a string of radio friendly hits, AJ’s returned to the STB! spirit with the EP’s sequel.

Facta – MPH

London producer and Wisdom Teeth label boss has created a track that would sound just as good on a misty winter morning walk as it would at 5am in a sweaty club.

Cktrl – As You Are

Lewisham artist Cktrl makes orchestral music that soothes the soul. This track from his new Robyn EP leans towards gentle electronica, and it’s decorated with a sample of birdsong.

Arlo Parks – Caroline

Poet-turned-musician Arlo Parks observes messy breakups on this new one. Caroline is an exercise in people watching and seeing situations unfold without context,” she says. It’s an exploration of how something once full of healthy passion can dissolve in an instant.”
