Alfie Kungu

Alfie Kungu is a London-based artist, and Guts Gallery regular, known for his bold, vibrant, silk paintings. He recently presented his first solo exhibition, Gap Tooth – at London’s Fitzroy House gallery – which exhibited his signature playful style and fascination with the natural world. In the five years since graduating from UWE Bristol, Kungu has gone on to work with ITV to create a large-scale installation which was featured as part of the channel’s Black History Month campaign and has partnered with Nike to produce the digital-art piece, Until We All Win. Most recently he’s collaborated with fashion brands including Folk, Carhartt and Liam Hodges on a rave-inspired collection that’s made to be worn after dark.
