Isaac Tooby & Neil Watson
Founders of Parched London
Isaac Tooby and Neil Watson are long-time friends and co-founders of hospitality venture Parched London. Having met in the mid-90s, the two formed Parched in 2003, with a view to rescuing and rejuvenating old pubs at risk from property developers. Their ongoing mission is to turn local watering holes into community-focused, award-winning neighbourhood pubs. No big brewery blandness allowed – we can’t argue with that. And with good drinks comes even better food: tasty kebabs created by Babber at The White Horse in Peckham, always packed to the rafters with pool-playing Peckhamites, the freshest seafood at The Montpelier just around the corner, and a rotating roster of chefs at their latest venture, Camberwell’s The Grove House Tavern.
