Matthew Ryle

Chef at Maison François

Matthew Ryle is the head chef at Maison François, a brasserie in St. James’s serving the best rustic French cuisine around. Prior to this, Ryle was appointed as head chef at Mayfair’s Isabel at just 22-years-old and was also a finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals in 2018. Maison François is currently headed up by François O’Neill, whose father founded the Knightsbridge restaurant Brasserie St.Quentin way back in 1980. The restaurant, which occupies a grand space just off Jermyn Street, has already won numerous culinary awards under 27-year old Ryle’s direction and was recently ranked among the top 100 restaurants in the UK by the National Restaurant Awards. Impressive stuff.
