Riaz Phillips

Riaz Phillips is a British writer and photographer who is currently based in Berlin, Germany. He’s also the acclaimed author of Belly Full: Caribbean Food in the UK – a book which documents the intercultural history of British-Caribbean cooking. In 2018, he was listed in Observer Food Monthly’s 50 Things We Love list and became the winner of a Young British Foodie Award. Phillips is currently working on the first in a series of Caribbean Cookbooks as well as London Jollof, a book that will celebrate West African food in London. He’s already made a major impact in the culinary world and the best is yet to come.
