Sertaç Dirik is a chef and the co-owner of Dalston’s best kept secret: MANGAL II. Founded at the height of the pandemic, the restaurant serves seasonal produce alongside sustainably sourced protein and seafood in meals that Dirik and his brother and Mangal 2 co-founder Ferhat describe as “turbo-charged regional food”. Together, they continue to experiment with delicious new dishes and wines and are currently working to give the restaurant’s basement a ‘70s Turkish makeover. Keep your eyes peeled.
