London Fashion Week is back! Here’s what to expect

Nensi Dojaka AW21

Take a trip behind the scenes at London Fashion Week this weekend as we join NEWGEN designers Saul Nash, Nensi Dojaka and Supriya Lele in the first ever TikTok Show Space.

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at fashion week? The throng of models ready to stomp the runway, mega talented makeup artists and hair stylists concocting otherworldly looks, and designers making critical last-minute changes to their awe-inspiring collections – you have to be there to believe the drama of it all. Fortunately for all you die-hard fans, TikTok is making it that much easier to be immersed in the action.

This is the third season that the global video app has led the way during London Fashion Week, broadcasting daily high-octane, live content. This year TikTok’s taking its mission one step further as the official partner for the British Fashion Council’s NEWGEN programme designed to offer mentoring and financial support for emerging designers navigating their way through the industry.

From the 17th to the 21st of September, TikTok will be hosting its first ever show space: an immersive space at The Old Selfridges Hotel in Central London. Think: the most exciting designer shows and of course, multiple spaces for TikTok content creation. Fancy.

Kicking off the packed schedule at 10am on the 17th is dynamic menswear designer Saul Nash, who will be putting on a dance-centric show. Make sure you stick around until 4pm that day, when young Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka will take over the runway with her barely-there, flesh-exposing ensembles. You can look to yuhan wang, FEBEN, Stefan Cooke, Supriya Lele, and Fashion East for further fashion action. Click here for the full programme.

Tune in to THE FACE’s TikTok, where we will be backstage with Supriya Lele, Nensi Dojaka and Saul Nash.
