Role Overview
You will ensure best-in-class delivery of paid commercial media campaigns, from planning to execution, with a consistent focus on optimising results.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day media management
- Own the commercial media process from brief through to delivery (i.e. creation of media plans, translating the creative into deliverables, activation, reporting, etc), with a special emphasis on deep post-campaign reporting and client retention
- Own the paid media activation process across Meta Ads, Google Ads and TikTok Ads, i.e. setting up ads, targeting audiences, etc
- Be client-facing throughout the media phase of a project, presenting media plans, answering questions and sharing reports, as required
- Prepare regular monthly and quarterly internal reports on organic and commercial cross-channel performance, with analysis and concise actions
- Develop relationships with key platforms and media agencies, staying abreast of industry developments
- Stay abreast of channel developments
- Build relationships with key media partners and technology vendors to deliver the best service
Skills & Attributes
- Minimum one year experience in a media or publisher environment
- Proven track record of activating £80k+ media campaigns on time and within budget and working on brand lift studies
- Understanding of a publisher’s multi-channel approach, which ranges from website, to newsletters, to varying social platforms, to talent campaigns, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of analytics tools and campaign evaluation metrics
- A self-starter, with a bias for action when faced with ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as this role requires working with every team within the business
- Knowledge of GDPR and newsletter management is preferred
- A good understand and proficiency in using spreadsheets (Google Sheets) for creating media plans and reports
