Chungking Express, Inland Empire, Waiting to Exhale, Festen, The Holy Mountain, Dogville by Lars von Trier. Also Dogtooth by Yorgos Lanthimos – nothing to do with dogs, but I do love a barking animal. Also, Bully by Larry Clark and pretty much any Blaxploitation film. Add in any Russ Meyer film – Supervixens is my favourite. Lastly, Chicken Ranch by Nick Broomfield and The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover.
