Here’s a chance to perform at the world’s most iconic festival.

Glastonbury is opening up a slot on one of its main stages for an up-and-coming music act. UK and Ireland-based acts of any genre can enter the competition for free.

After the entry period closes, a panel featuring 30 UK music journalists will compile a longlist of 90 acts, which then gets narrowed down to a shortlist of eight acts. Both Michael and Emily Eavis will help judge in the final stages.

The competition is also supported by PRS for Music and PRS Foundation, and so the winner gets a £5,000 prize to help them launch their career in music. Two runners up will get a prize of £2,5000.

If you’re an aspiring musician who fancies giving it a shot, you’ve got until Monday 5th February 2024 to enter the competition via the the festival’s website. Good luck.
