In 2024, Precious Renee Tucker began posting lo-fi videos of herself playing keys in the comfort of her home in Arkansas. Precious’s experimental musicianship paired with the calm elegance of her performance made for mesmerising viewing.
Now, her clips generate hundreds of thousands of views, and these days, you can spot some of the coolest names in fashion and music in her comments. Precious has since gone on to perform for Telfar and Solange, and she recently wore Martine Rose for a free-spirited collaboration with the choreographer Eric Christison.
Precious is the moment, and she is the avant-garde. It feels fitting, then, for her to be our final cover star.
