Footwear that’s ready whenever, wherever

Loads of us these days have a bit of a pick ​‘n mix approach to style – lockdown staples live comfortably alongside club-ready clothing, gorpcore pieces that’ve never been outside the M25 sit next to knitwear and your most recent purchase of ​‘90s-inspired, ultra lowrise trousers – even swimwear’s making it into circulation. Whichever look you’re going for (or maybe you’re mixing and matching a few) you’ll need adaptable footwear that can pull it all together and keep up with changing styles. Slap bang in the eye of the storm? The adidas NMD_​V3s.

TedX talk aside, the NMD_​V3s – standing for Nomads and launched by the three-stripers back in 2015 – are super versatile and as easy on the eye as they are on the foot. In terms of comfort, they’re breathable thanks to perforated details and BOOST cushioning that makes concrete streets feel like marshmallow pillows.

To prove our point, we hit up a few people whose eclectic style we love to find out what they get up to in their NMD_​V3s and shoot a few portraits out and about (including an obligatory lift selfie, obviously).
