The Face and Burberry present Crossed Paths: a film starring Morgan Simpson and Pa Salieu, that explores exactly that.
Directed by Duncan Loudon, the film sees Morgan Simpson, the energetic drummer of post-punk band, Black Midi, go head-to-head with Coventry’s fast-rising rapper, Pa Salieu, wearing Burberry’s new TB Summer Monogram collection.
Rooted by two contrasting themes, Burberry’s new TB Summer Monogram collection is symbolic of both the British brand’s heritage and its current state of modernity, and these two contrasting performances – by two contrasting characters – bring this sentiment to life with no holds barred.
Together, the sticksman and the rapper bounce off one another pin-balling between Simpson’s exhilarating percussion and Salieu’s African-influenced melodies and raw siren-laced city soundscapes before colliding them to create a brand new sound.
