Coco Gordon Moore on love, loose teeth and mac ’n’ cheese
The multi-hyphenate (forgive us, but it seems appropriate) has released poetry, painted, acted, modelled. Hell, she’s even done a stint serving at Captain Jack’s Roadside Shack. The lobster roll? To die for…

Name?
Coco Gordon Moore. Or actually, Coco Hayley Gordon Moore.
Date of birth?
1st July 1994.
Born?
Manhattan.
Live?
Manhattan.
What is your first memory, Coco Hailey Gordon Moore?
I weirdly have a memory of losing a tooth really early on. I was very young. I was sitting on my couch, watching The Powerpuff Girls or something, wiggling it, and I was shocked when it came out. And then it never grew back in – I never got an adult tooth.
Worst job you’ve ever had?
I don’t know if it was the worst job but I worked at this [seafood] place called Captain Jack’s in Western Massachusetts. It’s a snack shack. But I literally barely worked there because I was just, like, really bad at customer service.
Favourite food?
Mac ’n’ cheese.
Favourite person?
Aww, I have to say my mom [Kim Gordon, legend – Noise Rock Ed].
What’s the longest you’ve stayed awake in one go?
Probably two days when I was in college.
Have you ever been in love?
I am in love.
Have you ever been arrested?
Not arrested, but I’ve been given tickets where you have to go to a judge or whatever. But nothing too bad.
What do you think about in the bath?
I feel like my mind does the same thing as when I’m trying to fall asleep – like, just spiralling. So I try to read a fun fantasy book or something.
What is the meaning of life?
Oh God. That’s a really intense question. I don’t know… I’ll just say love.
Any interesting scars?
I think scars are cool, but I don’t really have any. I swear I don’t scar. I’ve gotten deep cuts before and they just heal right away.
What did you want to be when you were seven?
A veterinarian.
Who’s the most famous person you’ve met?
Probably Paul McCartney. Or Robert Pattinson. Two different worlds, so it depends on which one you want to dive into.
Whose phone number would you most like to have?
Lana Del Rey.
Do you believe in God?
No.
