Stone Island’s got Seoul

Fashion news of the week: New bits for Stoney’s latest Stellina collection, Miu Miu goes to Church(‘s) and KNWLS simmers the cauldron.

A double whammy from Stoney

Refresh your wardrobe with Stone Island’s latest Stellina collection: a properly sleek mix of everyday pieces in very stucco white, sage, lead and black. But don’t be fooled by the simplicity; beyond clean, crisp lines and slick textures on hooded jackets, long parkas and shirt jackets on offer are hidden gems to help you weather a storm. The Italian brand for well-dressed men has gone all out with the details this season, with raw cut edges, hidden three-layer fabrics for extra warmth, breathable nylon layers, roomy proportions for extra comfort and an inner membrane to protect from wind, rain and God knows what else in dear old Blighty.

In other news, if you happen to find yourself in Seoul from 5th September, Stone Island will be launching a huge archive exhibition, which just so happens to coincide with Frieze Week. Titled Selected Works Seoul 982-’023: The Stone Island Archive, it’ll be the biggest, baddest installation the brand has ever done in Asia, with 70 special pieces on show, including the Tela Stella cape from the brand’s first ever collection, the more recent monochromatic Ventile Ghost Piece from SS11 and an entire floor dedicated to the Pure Shell Jackets. It’s not too late to book a flight…

Fix up, look hard in Stone Island Stellina AW23, available at stoneisland.com. Then get on the cheapest flight to Seoul for Selected Works Seoul 982-’023, running from 5th-9th September. All the info you need is right here.

Enter the Church(‘s) of Miu Miu

Miu Miu is stomping into the new season with a stellar Church’s collab. Born in Northampton in 1873 and bought by Prada in 1999, Church’s merges the best British qualities (irreverent, good looking…) with fine Italian charm (…sexy, sophisticated, even better looking), which lends itself rather brilliantly to Miu Miu’s maverick mash-up of carefree, cool style. Coated in lush shiny brown leather and fastened by a monk strap, this is a collab for smarty pants. But stick on some of Miu Miu’s best in season from the past two years – a micro-mini, hi-tech bras, gold embellished knickers – and you’ve hit the dreaded smart-casual dress code. Its accompanying campaign seemingly takes cues from the Big Brother diary room, featuring models perching their bums on an armchair pimped out in archive Miu Miu fabrics, looking like they’re about to reveal all kinds of sin.

Slip into Church’s x Miu Miu from 29th August when it drops online at miumiu.com, and in Miu Miu stores from 6th September.

It’s witching hour at KNWLS

As the days get shorter, the nights darker and we wave goodbye to the summer that never actually arrived, KNWLS’ first drop of its AW23 collection will help you feel better about the arrival of the colder months. It’s perhaps one of the brand’s darkest seasons yet, including a killer combo, dramatic full-length dress, sharp pointed boots with decadent buckle detailing and gothic lace prints on skin-tight tops. All that’s missing is a broom, a grudge and an ear-piercing cackle.

Fly over the moon and head to knwls.com to shop the first drop of its AW23 collection.
