Just ask Mahalia, who recently popped down to Queen’s Hair & Beauty in Peckham, South London, for our video series Mani Minutes. Having released her second album IRL last month, the singer and champion of British R&B came into the salon for a well-deserved pamper, courtesy of April Arabella, founder of Cherry Bomb Nails.
While April got to work on a set of mismatched iridescent nails, the pair rattled through some very urgent questions. What does Mahalia do just before she goes on stage? What was her opening line when she slid into Jojo’s DMs to request a feature on Cheat? And, most importantly, who’s the most famous number in her phone?
