Rated by The Face: a weekly playlist

Featuring Junglepussy’s return, Overmono’s adrenaline-fuelling production and a confident debut from Priya Ragu.

We’re in a crisis, but great music keeps coming out.

To keep up with it all, check out this playlist which we lovingly update every week. Read about last week’s additions here.

Junglepussy – Main Attraction

The NYC rapper has teamed up with sought-after producers Nick Hook and David Sitek for her forthcoming album Jp4. She’s on excellent form with this lead single, gliding through airy production, oozing unflinching confidence and sexual bravado.

Overmono – Everything U Need

The title track from the UK duo’s new EP. As is often the case with Overmono, it creates a simmering feeling of excitement, as if something great is about to happen.

Br3nya – Berzerk ft. Ivorian Doll

Two rising UK stars in full force. Br3nya first emerged in 2018 with bangers which leant towards summery dancehall and afroswing sounds. Berzerk, on the other hand, sees her team up with IVD over an ice-cold drill beat.

Headie One – Princess Cuts ft. Young T & Bugsey

Headie One’s album EDNA has plenty of soul-searching moments. But also he’s done a couple of fun tunes for the radio, including Princess Cuts – which appropriately accompanied by a video of everyone dressed in white and having the time of their lives at a poolside party.

Priya Ragu – Good Love 2.0

An impressive debut single from Tamil-Swiss artist Priya Ragu, which will should appeal to fans of Jorja Smith and Kaytranada.
