Mabel – Let Them Know

Mabel’s back! Let Them Know is a dance-pop banger about finding your confidence on a big night out. Fingers crossed for 19th July.

Cola Boyy – Mailbox

The Paris-via-Oxnard artist enlists esteemed pianist and producer John Carroll Kirby (Frank Ocean, Solange, Harry Styles) for this feel-good disco-funk stomper, taken from new album Prosthetic Boombox.

Athletic Progression – Moussas Finest

The jazz trio from Aarhus, Denmark have just dropped their third project cloud high in dreams, but heavy in the air via London’s Touching Bass label. Moussas Finest is simultaneously soothing and fast-paced, demonstrating the group’s stunning dexterity.

Wesley Joseph – Patience ft. Jorja Smith

On the poignant conclusive track from his new project Ultramarine, Joseph teams up with his old Walsall mate Jorja Smith for a smooth duet.

M1llionz – Bando Spot

Here, Birmingham’s biggest drill MC references Candy Shop, also channelling some of 50 Cent’s nonchalant confidence.

Tyler, the Creator – Lumberjack

The first single from Tyler’s forthcoming album Call Me if You Want to Get Lost is brief and gritty, a two minute rap track which samples Gravediggaz – the horrorcore side project of Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA – and features rowdy background vocals from his Odd Future pals Domo Genesis, Taco and L Boy.

Yves Tumor – Jackie

The pandemic robbed a lot of us of the chance to see Yves Tumor on stage with their band in full-blown rockstar mode. Thankfully, Yves has now announced an extensive tour – and this huge-sounding new track sounds built for the stage.
