Rated by The Face: a weekly playlist
The best contemporary music – updated weekly.
There’s a daunting amount of music out there and we know it’s hard to keep up. But rather submitting yourself to an algorithm for new music recommendations, try this lovingly curated playlist that The Face updates every week. Check it out below.

DaBaby – BOP
2019’s biggest breakthrough rapper has just released his new album Kirk. This highlight sees him spit with a menacing grin over a hard-as-nails beat. Textbook DaBaby.
Zedd & Kehlani – Good Thing
Zedd’s a bloke who does big commercial dance tunes and has worked with Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry. You all know who Kehlani is.
D Block Europe – Outside
D Block Europe are massive these days. You know they sold out two gigs at Alexandra Palace in four hours? That means over 20,000 people are going to see D Block Europe. Mad. Anyway, Outside is one of the best songs on their 28-track album PTSD.
Vegyn – Nauseous /Devilish ft. JPEGMAFIA
You’ve heard Vegyn’s work loads of times, because he’s produced a lot for Frank Ocean. He’s about to become more well known for his doing his own thing with forthcoming album Only Diamonds Cut Diamonds. For the lead single, unhinged art rapper JPEGMAFIA has returned the favour after Vegyn did a bit of guitar and vocals on his recent album.
Greentea Peng – Mr. Sun (Miss da sun)
Dress well, smoke weed, find your soulmate: this is the advice Greentea Peng shared with The Face. The London artist knows what she needs to thrive, and she pines for it on this woozy new single.
