We’re buzzing to announce that THE FACE is a partner with Flesh. The new, two-day festival is happening on 28th and 29th May in Springfield Park, St Albans (about 40 minutes from London’s Kings Cross station), and the line-up is excellent.
LSDXOXO, object blue, Julianna Huxtable, Chippy Nonstop, Jaguar, VTSS, Jossy Mitsu, Adonis’s Shay Malt and Elliott and Angel D’Lite of Big Dyke Energy are all on the bill – check out the full music line-up here. There’ll be respite from the raving, too, in the activity tent, where talks and panels will be hosted by art-oriented queer club night Riposte, as well in the inclusive play area run by Howl.
“100% of the lineup will be made up of under-represented artists and 90% of the lineup will feature women, trans+ and non-binary artists including a spectrum of ethnicities,” says the festival, the first of its kind in the UK, in its manifesto. “Flesh will address the long-term issue of male-dominated festival programming.”
Fancy it? There’s a limited amount of tickets left and you can buy them here.
