Rated by The Face: a weekly playlist
Featuring a Drake and Future reunion, a massive tune from 070 Shake and a precious song by Mac Miller.
There’s a daunting amount of music out there and we know it’s hard to keep up. But rather than submitting yourself to an algorithm for new music recommendations, try this lovingly curated playlist that The Face will be updating every week. Check it out below.

Future — Life is Good ft. Drake
A two-for-one single from the rap titans, who’ve got a lot of collaborative history despite being chalk and cheese in terms of vocal style. Make sure you watch the video in which the lads act as bin men, Apple store staff and dessert chefs.
Dreamville — Still Up ft. Earthgang & Reason
Following last year’s Rise of the Dreamers compilation, J Cole’s Dreamville label has shared a few more tunes from the vaults. This one features fast-rapping Atlanta duo alongside Reason – one of the lesser known artists on Top Dawg Entertainment.
070 Shake — Guilty Conscience
The world learnt 070 Shake’s name in 2018 when she appeared on Pusha T’s Daytona and Kanye West’s divisive album ye. Forthcoming album Modus Vivendi will be her biggest statement as a solo artist yet, and she’s fronted it with this massive synth-pop ballad.
Selena Gomez – Rare
A bold opening tune on Selena’s new album, which The Face reckons is “a well-honed artistic revival”.
Mac Miller – Good News
A beautiful song, which is set to appear on Mac’s posthumous album Circles.
