Rated by The Face: a weekly playlist
Grimes goes acoustic, King Princess does hip-hop and Bad Bunny teams up with Sech for a banger that'll make you dance and cry.
There’s a daunting amount of music out there and we know it’s hard to keep up. But rather than submitting yourself to an algorithm for new music recommendations, try this lovingly curated playlist that The Face will be updating every week.
Check it out below and read about last week’s additions here.
Grimes - Delete Forever
Grimes’ fifth album Miss Anthropocene drops 21st February and this might be the best track she’s shared from it yet. A sad, breezy acoustic rock song which was written on the night of Lil Peep’s death.
King Princess - Back of a Cab
King Princess has shared a deluxe version of her excellent album Cheap Queen with five new tunes. This is our pick from the bonus material, which sees her try her hand at jazzy hip-hop production.
Brent Faiyaz - Let Me Know
You’ll probably know Brent Faiyaz for his feature on GoldLink’s massive hit Crew – many argue the RnB crooner’s hook was more memorable than GoldLink’s own verse. Here’s a highlight from Faiyaz’s new EP Fuck the World.
Bad Bunny x Sech — Ignorantes
“Who’s ready to dance and cry at midnight?” Bad Bunny posted on Instagram, along with a photo of himself and Afro-Panamanian artist Sech. As promised, the collab’s a melancholic banger for the dancefloor.
Kim Petras — Reminds Me
Kim dropped this breakup tunes on Valentine’s Day, along with the announcement that she’ll be supporting Camilla Cabello on her European tour dates. Classy.
