Where was the party?
Jack Solomon’s — a speakeasy hidden underground in London’s Soho that was transformed into Le Palace — the Parisian haunt famous for outrageous outfits and punk rock on the dance floor – for one night only.
What was it in aid of?
Well, there were lots of things to celebrate: Christian Louboutin’s new collection inspired by the designer’s younger years spent in the original Le Palace as part of the “bande de bandeaux”, the brand new issue of The Face, and the start of London Fashion Week.
Who was there?
What did it sound like?
A lot like Evelyn “Champagne” King. That’s because the disco legend that is performed. Fat Tony, Moxie and Isabelle Kosciuscko provided further entertainment.
What were people drinking?
Palace Nights Negronis, Joker Margaritas and Galaxister (a signature Ciroc Vodka cocktail) all of which are named after shoes in the new Christian Louboutin collection.
