It’s about to go off in Charli XCX’s Instagram livestream

If you’ve been following Charli XCX’s quarantine diaries, then you know the left-field pop sensation – like many of us – is struggling with the effects of isolation on her mental health.
“If I don’t have a million things going on, if my brain isn’t buzzing, this pit of doom starts opening up,” the 27-year-old logs on 15th March. “I start thinking ‘Why?’ ‘What’s the point?’ ‘I am so purposeless.” [SIC]
Ever the problem solver, the Boom Clap singer has just announced that she will be hosting daily self-isolation shows on her Instagram live stream to help support anyone suffering from quarantine blues.
The five-day event will kick start tonight at 5pm (GMT) with “an emo chat” between Charli XCX and French singer-songwriter Christine and the Queens, with future shows including personal training with American DJ Diplo and a playful Saturday night game of “would you rather” with popstar Kim Petras.
