Right here with all my friends: inside Olivia Rodrigo’s dinner with THE FACE

Olivia Rodrigo and FACE Editor Matthew Whitehouse

Co-hosted by FACE Editor Matthew Whitehouse and taking place at Quo Vadis in Soho, London, Olivia was joined by FACE family including Central Cee, Madeline Argy, Amelia Dimoldenberg and Joe Locke.

It’s gearing up to be yet another big year for Olivia Rodrigo.

Since THE FACE first met the then-18-year-old in 2021, she’s bagged herself three Grammys for her debut album Sour, released the Disney+ documentary, Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U, brought Lily Allen on stage at Glastonbury 22, and generally conquered the world. Oh, and she found time to interview her friend Jenna Ortega for THE FACE’s Winter 22 issue too.

So, yeah, we go way back. And with the 20-year-old in town to promote Guts, her much-anticipated follow-up (out 8th September), we thought the opportunity for a FACE link-up was too good to miss.

Co-hosted by FACE Editor Matthew Whitehouse, and taking place at chef-patron Jeremy Lee’s Soho institution Quo Vadis, Olivia was joined by FACE friends and family including Madeline Argy and Amelia Dimoldenberg, musicians Central Cee, Ellie Rowsell and John Glacier, actors Archie Madekwe, Rish Shah, Joe Locke and Madison Hu, and Worms editor Clem MacLeod. All of whom, naturally, raised a glass (or 10) to what’s sure to be one of the albums of the year.

Great idea, right?
