A hit from the Eytys, model behaviour at Miu Miu and Asics take a leap

Fashion news of the week: after a mad month of menswear, the “fashions” show no sign of slowing down. Catch your breath, we’re going back in.

Big campaigns from Burberry, Miu Miu and Givenchy

This week Burberry was in the mood for love, releasing its Valentine’s Day campaign, B:MINE”, featuring good-looking models shot mid-snog. The British house has curated a range of dusky pink bags, shoes and accessories, so there’s no excuse for getting this year’s gift all wrong – again.

Miu Miu recruited an all-star cast for its SS23 campaign, featuring the likes of Emma Corrin, Kendall Jenner and model of the moment Achol Ayor to strike some solemn poses in the same pared-back collection that won Paris Fashion Week last September.

And over at Givenchy, whose creative director Matthew M. Williams delivered a stand-out menswear collection last week, Gigi Hadid, Selena Forrest and Luna Passos have been deployed for the brand’s SS23 womenswear collection where laid-back American-influenced cuts meet easy-breezy French fancies. Magnifique.

Eytys take down the tempo

Eytys, purveyors of trendy big trews, are back with a new collection. This time round, it’s out of the acid rave and onto something a little more relaxed: to Jamaica’s balmy 70s dance scene. Expect casual tailoring, breezy shirting, prints of naked people on the beach and one of the finest leather jackets we’ve seen in some time.

Eytys’s SS23 collection is available to shop at eytys.com.

The oil and tea towel are sold together or separately in all A.P.C. stores from today.

Tekla and Stüssy get under the covers

The cult Danish sleepwear brand has teamed up with everyone’s favourite streetwear label for a collab of dreams. Up for grabs: lots of bright, cosy sheets and super-soft bathrobes all made from organic cotton. Don’t sleep on it.

Stüssy & Tekla is available now at stüssy.com, teklafabrics.com, selected Stüssy Chapter stores and select Dover Street Market locations.

ASICS goes gorpcore with Andersson Bell

Get your hiking gear out and slip on these brand new Asics kicks, created in collaboration with Korean brand Andersson Bell. This is the Gel-Sonoma 15 – 50, a techy shoe built for trail running, decked out with all the usual Asics tidbits: a well-cushioned sole, breathable fabric and three colourways to choose from. Race you to the top?

ASICS x Andersson Bell will be available from 20th Jan via asics.com

Patta takes it back to its roots

Edson Sabajo and Guillaume Gee” Schmidt, founders of the Dutch streetwear brand, are both from Suriname, which just so happens to be the starting point for Patta’s latest collection. And Patta actually translates as shoe” in the Surinamese language. How’s that for a full circle? The collection is solid: patterned denim, tie dye sweats and camo two-pieces, using techniques such as the Indonesian dying technique, batik, and the Japanese tie-dying method, shibori (meaning to wring, squeeze or press).

Patta SS23 is available 27th January from 13:00 CEST on Patta.nl and in-store
